Modern Pre-Raphaelite Wedding

Hareston Manor, surrounded by fairytale grounds and with its own 14th Century chapel was the chosen spot for this Pre-Raphaelite wedding photoshoot. Historic charm exudes from this dreamy and romantic building and suited the Pre-Raphaelite theme. This photoshoot worked with an aesthetically pleasing twist on the theme, a romantic elopement fusing traditionalist flair with a touch of modern, set within an enchanting setting. Hand crafted details make this styled shoot feel special, with additional unique elements like William Morris prints. There’s a layering of colour with an autumnal Arts and Crafts colour palette. Warm rusts and pale greens celebrate a connection with nature with a relaxed undertone.

Modern Wedding

A group of art critics, English painters and poets made up the Pre-Raphaelites around the time between the 1850's and 19th-century. The Pre-Raphaelites encouraged "art for art's sake" rather than focusing on art and literature with a political undertone. Creativity for this group focused on detail and the natural world. Dante Gabriel Rossetti's painting, La Ghirlandata produced in 1873 is infused with the greens and warm russets and oranges which are the staple colours in this photoshoot.

Modern wedding

The photoshoot involved a collaboration of suppliers from catering and food to floristry. Styling, design and co-ordination was provided by Knots and Kisses who also produced exquisite stationary for the shoot with painted designs and rust fabric details. LPM Bohemia provided a marquee with a delightfully printed design on it, adding to a unique look full of interest. Virginias Vintage Hire added an indulgent look and a touch of bohemia with traditional velvet sofas and bamboo seating. Pieced together with green, russet hues and warm orange toned cushions the outdoor seating area felt cosy and inviting.
