Colour-Fade Pastel Beach
A hop, skip and a jump from this wedding ceremony area was Croyde's enticing cool waters. There's lots to love about this characterful idyllic part of North Devon. Cool breezes, diffused day light and the serene lapping of waves set the scene for this delightful pastel-fade al-fresco photo shoot. A heavenly setting to reduce wedding nerves with it's laid-back surroundings amidst decadent soft-hued pops of peach, lilacs and romantic pinks, a colour amalgamation that conjures up a selection of decadent ice creams. This coastal, dreamy wedding in all it's gorgeousness could inspire or change your plans for your future wedding, now's the time to dream and tweak the look and feel of a postponed wedding. We encourage you to create ambience, layering colour, adding texture, incorporating a playful touch and working with your surroundings to make your wedding dazzlingly different from the norm.
Vertical logs were placed inside reclaimed wooden planters to add structure to the beach ceremony area. With the aid of some helpful pebbles on the beach, these were secured onto the sand with the inclusion of cascading ivy plants, to soften the look. The selection of pots ranged from weather beaten terracotta, galvanized metals and rustic woods. Teaming tumbling ivy, rustling grasses, structural ferns and pastel hued flowers, the overall look was gentle and friendly. Brompton Buds added the finishing touches with a trail of pastel hued roses dipped in the sand. This floral embellishment paired with a garden seating area and white fabric billowing from the tops of the log structures, brought the look pleasingly together. Natural, informal with an elemental feel made for the dreamiest set up. The concoction of colour and the natural setting lifted your spirits, with a palpable sense of fun and gaiety, there's lots to love about this coastal whimsical style. These are the colours of summer for those barefooted weddings on the beach.
An injection of colour inside the marquee with pastel balloons and flowers by Brompton buds, blended with the background of fields, beach and a selection of our magnificent pals, the hardy palm. Inside the marquee were varying sizes of vases of flowers creating an undulating rhythm along the tables. Combining vases with wine bottles made for a handcrafted feel, with grandeur added with old golden candle holders. Hand-dyed runners and a medly of pastel water coloured stationary complemented this elegant style further. If you're not keen on strong colours then these fairytale hues could be adopted into a wedding scheme easily. Add the odd pop of colour here and there or portray a flower laden meadow for a free spirited love story.
